Acqua Alta Activism
Acqua Alta Activism is a poster campaign
created during my fall 2023 semester abroad
in Venice, Italy. Collaborating with classmate
Yuka Masamura, whose illustrations bring the
work to life, I led the overall creative direction, typography, and copy to raise awareness
about the environmental challenges facing
the city. The campaign centers on the Acqua Alta, the recurring high tide phenomenon that increasingly threatens Venice's cultural heritage and way of life as sea levels continue to rise.
